In Greek mythology, Taurus was identified with Zeus, who assumed the form of a magnificent white bull to abduct Europa, a legendary Phoenician princess. The Cretan Bull which fathered the Minotaur was originally calm and sent from Poseidon,

but the king (Minos) whom it was sent to fell out of favour with Poseidon, and so in some versions of the story, Poseidon made the bull angry.

Plejaden:

Is the famous open star-pile in 390 light years distance. One can recognize seven of those stars with the pure eye. All in all there are 250 stars. The greek name means "pigeon".

Aldebaran:

A red giant in 66 light years distance. The arab name means "The Follower", because it seems to follow the Plejads und Hyads. In Mesopotamia it was beside Regulus, Antares and Fomalhaut one of the four royal stars.

To describe the typical Taurus temperament, you would probably use the word practical and purposeful. One word you would not use is impulsive. When the tauruses have to make important decisions in life, decisions about things that are vital to their security and the welfare of those they love, they spend a long time on this. They want those decisions to become a solid rock.

After the golden ram that rescued Phrixos, taking him to the land of Colchis, Phrixos sacrificed the ram to the gods and hung its skin in a temple, where it was known as the Golden Fleece. It is the fleece of the winged ram Chrysomallos.

It figures in the tale of Jason and his band of Argonauts, who set out on a quest for the fleece in order to place Jason rightfully on the throne of Iolcus in Thessaly.

Hamal:

A yellow giant in 66 light years distance. The arab name means ram, sheep or lamb. Sometimes he is also called Elnath (arabic for "The one who pokes with his horn").

Sheraton:

A white star in 59 light years distance. The arabic name means Sign. It was also used for Arietis, because both stars where near the equinox in 300 - 400 B.C. He is also called Elscheratain (arabic for "The both signs").

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac so it shouldn't come as any surprise then that they are born leaders. They shine brightly, taking the initiative in everything they do and others see that immediately. There are no half-measures for the rams. They are energetic, daring and fighters too. Craving for adventure and travel the world are the things that Aries like. They are pioneers and they have the ability to lead. According to one Greek myth, Pisces represents the fish into which Aphrodite and her son Eros transformed in order to escape the monstrous Typhon; they are tied together with a cord on their tails, to make sure they do not lose one another. In the sky, the two fish of Pisces are represented

swimming in opposite directions, their tails joined by a cord. The Babylonians visualized a pair of fish joined by a cord. The mythological events concerning this constellation are said to have taken place around the Euphrates river.

Al Rischa:

A doubole-star in 140 light years distance. The arab name means bend or rope and cord respectively. It was derived from the babylonian word "riksu".

In the scheme of astrology each of the zodiac signs supposedly indicates the level of evolution beginning with Aries and finishing with the sign of Pisces. There is no doubt that the water signs, Pisces being the final and most mature of them, indicates their spiritually developed character. The ruling symbol of their star sign is the fish and just as the fish lives in the ocean, so is Pisces suffused with feeling and empathy, the emotions that are characterized by water. of the Zodiac signs and the only one not to represent a living creature. In Greek mythology, Libra is considered to depict the scales held by Astraea, the goddess of justice.

A greenish star in 160 light years distance. The arabic name means "Northern Scissors"

A yellow giant in 150 light years distance. The arabic name means "Scorpions Scissors".

The sign of Libra represents the intellect. They are most definitely a thinkers. They like to use their minds to tackle problems. The sign of Libra refers to relationships of all sorts and their connection to the world around them. People know them as someone who loves to socialise. They are outgoing nature and love of communicating brilliant ideas to people around them is one of their strengths. Even on their worst days, they are rarely at a loss for words.

Sagittarius

The Babylonians, identified Sagittarius as the god Pabilsag which had wings and a lion's head. Sagittarius is generally identified as a centaur, half human, half horse. He is shown wearing a cloak and drawing a bow, aimed in the direction of the neighbouring Scorpion.

In some legends, the Centaur Chiron was the son of Philyra and Saturn, who was said to have changed himself into a horse to escape his jealous wife, Rhea.

A bluish-white star in 220 light years distance.

Ascella:

A star in 90 light years distance. The name has its origin in the latin word axilla, "axle".

Kaus Australis:

A bluish-white star in 145 light years distance. The name means "Southern part of the bow".

Kaus Borealis:

An orange colored giant in 78 light years distance. The name means "nothern part of the bow".

Sagittarius is undoubtedly one of the most positive of the star signs. They are extremely confident in whatever they do. Being one of the luckiest signs, fortune seems to favour them, whether they plan things or not. That is also the reason they do not mind taking the odd risk or two. They feel as if they cannot possibly lose. This almost cocky attitude is something that attracts people to them.

How to calculate life path number..?

The first calculation to make for a numerological chart is the birth date. The date needs to be written out in the mm/dd/yyyy format. For example if you were born on January 23rd of 1980 it would be 01/23/1980. If you add the numbers of the birth date together you will have the Life Path number. In the example given, it would be 1 + 2 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 or 24- which then reduces to 2 + 4 or 6. The Life Path number is a representation of who you were when you were born and how those ingrained traits will take you through life. Remember that the numbers need to be between 1 and 9 except for the master numbers. Do not reduce 11 or 22 as they are the master numbers and a valid result to have.

Those who were born with a Life Path number of 9 were born for a life of drama, generosity and compassion. Humanitarians, these people are honorable and trustworthy and usually lacking prejudice. They feel a deep responsibility to help out other people in any way that they can.
